FIFA World Cup

Each four years, whole the world is living a party for every corner. In each country, in each city people think in football. Each four years is celebrated the FIFA World Cup.

People think in football. In every office, hospital, school, university, etc. people get together to watch the football match, each child, teenager, man or woman paints his face and shout for each Chilean goal. During one hour and a half, there isn’t any movement in the streets.

In every shop, there are some items with the colors of each national football team from any country in the challenge; these items are only for few hours in shops, all the people want to buy something, for example, there are some blue, white and red hat, flags, scarves, gloves, t-shirts, and a replica of the cup. Food is also special in World Cup time. While Chilean national team is playing, people do parties and cook barbeques and foods like that, whit their friends. The music is also special, every child, in every school is dancing and singing the Shakira’s song called “Waka-waka”, the official song of the FIFA World Cup, they are also singing “waving flags”, but no only the children are singing these songs, young people and adults do this too.

The “the football fever” is around all the world, the people also buy a lot of LCDs, grillers, cell phones with TV, or portable TVs, football is in newspapers, news report, in the streets there are a lot of signs about football, many products, candies and sodas have a label about football too.But people are together to celebrate, all are happy and all want to his national football team wins the FIFA World Cup.
