If I were immortal

I’m not pretty sure about what I would do if I were someone else, it is a little complicated for me to be on the shoes of another person, nonetheless if you are asking me for that I would answer it anyway.
If I were an immortal man, I main if I were a person who cannot die, if there was no way that I could die, I would do all kind of thing, due to the fact that I would never die. It has advantages and disadvantages: the main advantage of being immortal is that you might discover and work in a lot of things, you might be a very intelligent person, moreover it has a huge disadvantage: if you lived forever you would lose every relative and friend such as a character from a TV show, he had lived for four hundred years and when he was in that age he met a girl, he fell in love with her, but she was ill and she died little time later, that man tried to kill himself, but he couldn’t.
Coming back to our topic, I would research a lot about everything, if I were immortal. I feel strongly that knowledge is one of the most important things in the world, so if I had all the time to research, to read, to find out I would be a very intelligent person, I would not have any problem since I would use my head for everything. Maybe I would discover how to fly and use other special abilities, like seeing in darkness, breathing under water and going through wall. My knowledge would be too much, maybe I could develop psychic powers and move objects from a point to other, or read minds, it would be awesome.
I would have to move out a lot since the people would start suspect that there is something strange with me, it must be a secret, I could not tell anybody about my special condition or they could start being afraid of me. If I had to move out a lot of times I will know a lot of places, I would speak a lot of languages and know a lot of cultures round the whole world, I would have a lot of friends in every country and city, but they would die before of me, so I would go to a lot of funerals.
I would like helping other people, I would rescue children and women from fires and I would put them out, I wouldn’t get hurt or maybe I would, but I wouldn’t die. I would use my abilities for the people, beside I should be very conscious with them, I think that many governments would use me to fight in wars, as I can die they would think that I would be the perfect soldier. I could kill millions and billions of foe soldiers. That would be good for them, but not for me.
To sum up, I say that living forever is not a good alternative, for me it is not. I think I am not prepared to have that responsibility, but if you told me that I can live forever I would tell you “no”.

Nightmares at the night

There was a man called Richard and a woman called Rachel. They had two children, Sam, who was happy and very energetic, and Samantha, who liked to dance and sing every day. Both of them were fifteen years old, they were born together, they were twins.

Richard had to move to a new city because of his job, Samantha and Sam were very happy for the news. They hated his old house, so since too long they were looking forward that moment. When they arrived to his new home, they saw a huge, white house which had a wonderful garden in the front. They walked into the house, it was an awesome place, it had a big living room, which was decorated with a lot of pictures, there were some armchairs, a coffee table surrounded by a sofa. Everybody was happy.

One day, Sam was playing outside while Samantha was cooking dinner with his mom, and his father was in his job. Sam saw a strange man who was staring at him. Sam tried to walk away silently, he turned away and started walking, suddenly he felt a hand on his right shoulder, it was the strange man, he whispered him to be careful in the house, because at night it had live.

Sam couldn’t sleep, he still remembered the words the man said to him before. He got up and went down for a glass of water, the insomnia made him thirsty. He turned the tap on. While he was filling the glass, he felt a weird sound which came from the bathroom. Sam went in the bathroom, there was nothing. He was leaving the room when the mirror fell down. He was about to get a heart attack. Sam picked the mirror up and hung it on the wall. He went back to the kitchen and continued drinking some water. After drinking four glasses of water he went to the living room and sat on an armchair, he closed his eyes and fell asleep.

When Sam opened his eyes he realized that he wasn’t in his house, he was sitting on the same armchair, but the living room was not the same. There were less pieces of furniture than before, there were strange pictures hanging on the red walls. He got up and approached to the walls, he wanted to know what that strange red paint which was on the walls was. Sam touched the wall with his finger, it was a thick substance. It was blood. The walls were bleeding.” It must be a nightmare”, he thought. “It is not a nightmare” said someone. He looked everywhere in the end he could see a body that was emerging from a wall, “it is real”. Sam started running, he couldn’t believe what was going on, he opened the front door, but there was nothing outside, it was completely black. Sam was upstairs, everything was full of blood and some creatures were emerging from every wall. He arrived at his room and searched under his bed, he took a knife which he had kept hidden. He knew what the problem was, he needed to destroy the mirror.

He went down and ran straight to the bathroom, the door was blocked by a weird red thing, he stuck the knife in that thing and it disappeared. Sam walked in the bathroom, took the mirror and threw it to the wall. Everything disappeared, he woke up on the armchair and saw nothing weird. He decided to go to bed, went up to his bedroom and he lay on his bed, but when he look up at the ceiling he saw a hand trying to emerge from it.

Be honest, it´s easier

We have some attitudes which are not good for us; the problem is when we think that those are good for us. It is a very common error. We usually think that the easier way is the correct, sometimes it is correct, but the most of the time s it is not.

As students we tend to get the highest grade, and we can do anything to get them, we even cheat in tests and ours homework. I’m pretty sure that we cheat just for our mark, we don’t mind if we have learnt or we haven’t, we do anything for a mark, we even lie.

When we cheat we are lying, we lie to others, tour teacher, to our families, to our friends and classmates, to ourselves, etc. How many people are counting in us? Have you ever thought about it? Have you ever talked with your parents about this? Let me guest…you have not (I have not). If we count our family, friend, teachers, employers, we can have around thirty people who are counting in us, would you like to disappoint them? Here it is an example: would you like your children cheat?

I have met a lot of people which are currently working, they are very hard-workers, but if you ask them any question about their works, they probably won’t answer you because they do not know the correct answer. It is a real story: when I worked as an air conditioner technician, I met a guy who was quite good in his job, everybody wanted to hire him, he also worked by his own. But he had a big problem: he only worked as a machine, he couldn’t explain why something works like that or why not, specially with electric works. One day I asked him why he didn’t know the cause of the refrigeration processes, he told me that he used to cheat while he was in the school, he only learnt to work as a machine, he always do the same processes with every refrigeration system.

As you can see, cheating is not the correct way, maybe it is he easier, but we are going to be teachers, would you like yours students cheat? We must not do the same that we wouldn’t like that they’d do us.

We have just talked about cheating, but be honest is one of the most important things in the life, lying is good for nobody. If we always tell the truth for everything, our life will be easier, we will spare a lot of problems, we will be able to sleep in peace at nights, our conscience will be in calm.
